Tiffany Stratton
has always been confident, but she admits that the past year has been stale for her.
After leading the Friday Night SmackDown women’s division for most of 2025, she is now looking back at her title run and feels it could have been more exciting creatively.
Stratton started 2025 strong. In January, she beat Nia Jax to win the WWE Women’s title and become the face of the division. Over the next 10 months, she defended her title against big names like Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Trish Stratus, Jax again, and Jade Cargill.
Even with that strong list of opponents, it sometimes felt her reign lacked a truly impactful arc.

, Stratton was honest about it. When asked if she sees herself as a babyface, a heel, or just “Tiffy,” she said she is mostly just being herself. But she also admitted that things felt a little stale after she won the title.
“I’m kind of just like me. I feel like for the longest for the past year, I was kind of stale. I felt like, you know, there wasn’t any crazy storylines after I won the title. I kind of want to bring back some spunk, so we’re going to be even more heelish Tiffany. We are going to play around with some things… But, yeah, I’m not really sure why the crowd cheers me as a heelish kind of vibe,” Stratton said.
Stratton also talked about her time in NXT, where her “Tiffy” heel character really took off. As a heel, she feels freer and more natural. However, on the main roster, she feels like she has held that back a bit.
“I do miss how my character was down in NXT. I do miss being a heel. I love being a heel and wrestling as a heel. I feel like right now I wrestle as a babyface. I love to just be free. As a heel, I feel more like I can be free and just kind of be like full Tiffy, whereas like kind of right now, I reel it back… So, I do miss wrestling as a heel, doing backstages and promos as a heel. I would say that’s the biggest thing that I miss in NXT,” Stratton added.
She also wants to keep improving in the ring and aims to have great matches with anyone, even joking that she would love to have a five-star match with a broomstick one day.
“I hope to hopefully get a really good storyline. One where people can really sink their teeth into it. I feel like I’m kind of missing that right now, and I just want to improve on my wrestling. I want to be able to have matches with anybody and have five-star matches with a broomstick one day,” Stratton said.
